What is Potters Without Kilns?

Potters Without Kilns was founded in 2013 to help emerging artists and artists in transition find a place to fire their ceramic art so they are able to continue to explore and develop their work. Without access to a kiln recent graduates, emerging artists and artists that are transitioning from one location to another or those who are between jobs will start to lose the very talent the ceramics community needs in order to train and educate future generations.

Potters Without Kilns has acquired two kilns from master potters Carl Erickson and Warren MacKenzie. We are honored to have these kilns. The kilns will be rebuilt near New Richmond, Wisconsin and available to be fired for many years to come.
